MetaStock Tutorial 1 : Changing the Default Chart Template

Normally, when traders open a stock chart in MetaStock by using File menu. The stock chart will be displayed in the default template.

Traders are able to arrange chart features as they want.

In this example :

1. The Candlesticks chart style is used.
2. The chart color and background color are changed.
3. The Volume is added to the chart.

Once the chart display is satisfied, traders can configure it as the Default Template by right clicking mouse on a chart screen and choose Save as Default Template on Menu Dialog.

Now this template will be used to display stock chart whenever traders open any chart.
