In MetaStock, there are some ready-to-use templates available but traders might like to create a new template with a particular style and display combination of indicators to apply to others stock charts.
To create a new template just follow the steps in Changing the Default MetaStock Chart Template Tutorial except the last step which is Save as Default Template.
When traders are satisfied with the chart display, select Save As… in File menu.
In the Save as dialog, choose the enter File name:, File description: and in Save as type: dropdown as template (*.mwt).
Now, traders have their own template to apply to whatever stocks they open.
